In my friend's case the day started with her calling the vet's office from
the ship or, when possible, from a phone in a port, and "talking" to her
beloved Topaz. The day ended with a second phone call for the same purpose.
This was back at a time when it cost about $15 a minute to call from the
ship, but no matter where we were, nothing happened until she "spoke" to her
dog.
Ray, I love the puppy, and I am happy that Heidi chooses to share my bed on
a cruise, but I'd spend any amount of money if I could restore my daughter's
hearing so that she didn't need the dog.
