In decades of travel we, originally my wife and I, and over the 25 years
since she passed away, never missed a trip, yet we always took the
insurance.
Then, last October, the unthinkable happened. I got pneumonia and shortly
after that my daughter got bronchitis, and at the suggestion of our doctors,
we canceled.
Yes, it took from October until a couple days ago, but we got a check from
TravelGuard for everything that was due us.
In other words, travel insurance is a waste of money until the one time you
need it.
