We are intending to travel on the Norwegian Jewel next month. When we
inquired of the Travel Agent about when to expect our travel documents, we
were told that Norwegian no longer sends out documents. Is this true? I've
looked over their Web site and don't see any announcement or indication of
this. I know that you don't get paper tickets for air travel anymore, etc,
but I haven't heard that the cruise industry is gone that way. I'm very
nervous to fly down to Florida and just show up expecting to get on the
boat. Is that the way it is?
Thanks.
You TA is full of ****. NCL still provides both paper or edocs. It is up to
your TA to request what they want for you. I booked my Feb. cruise direct
with NCL and have had paper docs in hand since mid December. Many TAs perfer
edocs no cost to sort and reship. I would demand at least edocs before
heading to FL.
At a minimum make sure you have your NCL booking number, proof of final
payment, and a copy of your Pre-registration done online if you don't get
the docs you should have.
