You might consider taking some CDS with you. There will certainly be fellow
passengers on-board with potable computer who can burn the discs for you.
DVDs are obviously better (as in more storage) but you have to worry about
the plus and minus flavo(u)rs and quite few laptops don't have DVD burners
yet.

On the past two cruises, I have taken my laptop and provided this service
for others. Prior to that, I availed myself of the kindness of strangers. (I
don't think this is what Blanche meant )

Once I used the ship's photo shop -- a different ship. The idiot had no idea
what he was doing. Rather than simply copying the files, he/she/it converted
and compressed them. gag!

Doesn't the 20D use compact flash and support Type II and microdrives? You
can get a 2 gig microdrive for $125 and 6Gig one for $180. You might
consider that approach.
