Checked with my son in Kapaa and although they have been having heavy
rains, they have not heard of any flooding in Kauai. Called my
brother-in-law in the Windward side of Oahu and he said there have
been some slides and heavy rains. He has a professional rain gauge
and he said he has had seven to eight inches of rain a day for the
last few days.
