Subject: Re: Jewel of the Seas Cruise Review 2/5/06 - very long Posted on: Sun, 12 Mar 2006 22:00:27 -0500

Jean,

It was a warm day in Fort Lauderdale when the muster drill was held. We
were facing the sun, so it was hot, crowded, and tiresome standing for so
long waiting for everyone to assemble. There were several announcements
made during the muster drill, but most people were talking and ignoring the
information. I still think it is a good idea to have them, and it comforts
me that cruiselines are required to have enough lifeboat space for everyone,
but there is no denying that the muster drill can be a little uncomfortable.
However, abandoning a sinking ship in the middle of the ocean would be
something of an inconvenience too! So, I guess I can put up with the 20 to
25 minute drill, or however long it was, and try not to complain too much.

Thanks for the feedback on the review.
