As I have been to nearly all of those ports I could probably give you a
detailed list of which ones to do on your own and which to get ship
tours on. Most of my recommendations would have to do with where the
ship docks in proximity to the sites you probably want to see. Here is
a brief list ++ means you can walk off the the ship to good
sightseeing, XX means you will probably dock in no man's land. TAXI
means you don't need a tour, but you need some conveyance to get to the
parts of town you want to see.. (no marking means I'm not sure)

In all cases, a ship tour is an alternative to a taxi.
