Hi Marsha, Sue,
Not only is the cost of flying to San Juan (for a 7 day Southern cruise)
prohibitive, but, especially for Barb, it entails many more hours en-route.
For us, a 10 day, Southern Caribbean makes more sence than a 7 day out of
San Juan.
Of course, we've booked a 10 Day, Mexican Riviera cruise (Celebrity,Murcury)
for April 28, 2006. This is partly because we think 7 days is too short,
and the flying to San Diego is both cheaper and shorter from Seattle than
flying to the East Coast, or farther.
PS: We'd be glad to see a Princess cruise from the west coast selected for
the GGC2007 cruise, even though we will have just done one this spring.
We're for APRIL because we'd really like to cruise with Gary and Robin
again. GGC 2005 was a great cruise, except for the unending noise (all
hours of the day) in our HA cabin. Even after reporting it to the staff, it
never even quieted down, much less stopped. They never even told us what
was causing it. :-(
