The Star (and the Star room A302 I was in last week now seemingly torched)
and all new ships have the sprinkler systems in their rooms.

I can tell you they are manual sprinklers but I cannot tell you if they
are zone sprinklers.

Meaning the sprinklers only go off if enough heat hits them directly. Zone
sprinklers can be activated by the ships staff if they are available. But
ships tend to not use zones due to the water damage and stablity issues
related to that much water being put down on a compartment that is not on
fire.
