No point going into detail in answer from those who think that the comments
about the air arranged through the cruise lines vs. purchasing it on your
own is "absolutely, totally and positively wrong." I didn't think it was
even necessary to express something that is indeed basis common sense, but
apparently in that respect I was wrong. As for a cruise line holding up a
ship for passengers who will be arriving late on a flight booked through
them, common sense would also dictate the word "reasonable" in here
somewhere.

Likewise, I would hope that the cruise line would have at least some type of
disclaimer that limits their liability in this regard, after all, they are
not the airline itself, yet only offering this connection as a courtesy to
their passengers. Yet, not matter how one wishes to spin the original
statement, cruise line will usually try to go out of their way to help
passengers on their arranged air to match of up with the ships sailing time,
but again, apparently, I guess I need to insert the word "reasonable" in
here somewhere. And likewise, this is also not an iron clad guarantee, but
for the most part, there is usually an effort on the part of the cruise
line.

Now for those shopping only price, them it seems that a lower air fare can
indeed be found somewhere. Yet, as much as one likes to point out the limits
or any obligations by the cruise line in connection to the air they arrange,
just think what incentive, obligations or commitment the air line itself has
to anyone flying anywhere with no real connection to any cruise line at all.
Basically, if the plane is late, that's your problem. Of course, in a case
like this, I would also be back on the phone with the travel agency who
talked me in to this type of arrangement to begin with. Let them earn their
commission. Therefore, don't let an inexpensive vacation be an expensive
mistake.
