Hi Bill!
My boyfriend and I go to Puerto Rico alot since he is in Pharmaceutical
equiptment sales so know it very well. We always stay at the Courtyard
By Marriott which is next to the EL san Juan Which is next to the
Intercontinental. ALL very nice Hotels. THE RESORT FEE is charged for
those hotels that front the BEACH I believe its 12% fee.
the hotels across the street IS Embassy Suites, The New Holiday Inn do
not charge it.
Yes you can walk around out there but why would you want too!
everything is great inside the hotel and if your there a day or 2,
everything is right there or a Short Taxi ride away! We like a
restaurnat called MEtropol and that is not far... there is also the
Waterclub a Posh fun place that is near the Intercontinental. It is ok
to walk around but I do not feel comfy enough to do that.....But sure
it is ok to do it if you do it with others.
There is a good restaurant that looks like a hole in the wall called
Ferrari they really have great pricing and great food!
