I remember all the old ladies who 'couldn't afford' to send Christmas
cards anymore when the price of postage went up from $0.13 to $0.15
one year. It was just an excuse to stop what they didn't want to do
in the first place.
How would paying $0.50 or $0.75 per gallon more for gas require you to
forgo a multi-thousand dollar purchase?
