They weren't available ordered separately as sides? I think all the
specialty restaurants I've tried, on a few cruiselines (including Le
Bistro on my very first cruise aboard Leeward) have had sides listed
separately...your entree won't come with anything unless you specify.
This kind of follows the model of higher end steakhouses on land, where
everything is a la carte...salads, sides, etc. On the Miracle last
month, at their specialty restaurant, I ordered the filet mignon, and
that was the only thing on the plate. The sides were something you
specifically had to request. I guess that way, you actually get
accompaniments that you actually want vs. chef's choice.
