But, seriously, with the exception of a Windjammer cruise in the
Grenadines and a very small ship cruise in Alaska, which were both
beyond casual, I've not done a "traditional" big ship cruise to
anywhere but the Caribbean/Mex. Riv. so I could see how your wife could
be challenged by her wardrobe, for a non-tropical, non-resortish
itinerary. I might suggest that she visit a Chico's store if youhave
one near where you live. They have very packable, very coordinate-able
clothes that can be easily dressed up or down, depending on the
occasion. They excel at achieving a casual, yet put together look with
their garments, and they even have some fancier things (again, very
packable) that would be suitable for formal evenings.
