We have a short cruise, SFO to Vancouver, coming up in two weeks.
I sent my expiring Passport off mid-March. It expires May 1 and our
cruise is May 10.
I made a copy of the critical pages.
Chances are I can find the birth certificate if I dig deep enough (from
10 or 15 years ago when I used it for the passport)
What happens if I can provide the actual new Passport or the original
copy of my Birth Certificate, but I have the photocopy of the passport?
This is California to Canada, not Timbuktu!
(and yes I know I need to get back into the States... crossing over in
a private vehicle for Seattle flight)
