Subject: RTC has become SPAMMER's Capitol in Newsgroups! Posted on: Thu, 4 May 2006 17:56:13 +0000 (UTC)

Returning here briefly to check on some recent news and to answer
a question or two about Princess cruises at Honolulu and Beijing,
I noticed the flurry of NEW comers and NEW ads, all long the line
of Ray Godenberg,

"I have a news release ... come to my Travel Agency so I can help
you, for a FEE of course."

Some spammers don't even bother with the preliminary disguise
of any news release, they go directly to the SPAM itself, as in the
"New dating site for scuba", by francis.loop(hole?)

where the same spam was posted within minutes in

Why do you think that's happening?

Answer: Pure and Simple. These SPAMMERS learned that
rec.travel.cruises is a HAVEN for spammers, because the reader only
only tolerate Ray Goldenberg's USENET violations, but some of them
evey encourage him to post his fake news releases.

What's the solution?

All you have to do is to drive the King Rat away, and all the other
Rats that followed the King Rat Ray Goldenberg's piper, will be
driven away too.

Not until then. The number of spammers in rec.travel.cruises
will only INCREASE, and accelerate in its increments.

Mark my word!
