In your opinion. Other people disagree with you.

No, I don't have him killfiled. As I said, I don't believe his posts are
SPAM, however, since I get many of the same press releases that Ray gets, I
seldom read his posts unless I have some comment I wish to make about the
content.
As for people being "turned off"..... so what? This is USENET, not a
popularity contest. If the information or format here doesn't suit someone,
they are free to go to other forums. Unlike years ago, this isn't the only
game in town. Forums such as CruiseCritic, CruiseMates, Yahoo groups, etc.
have attracted huge followings and we should remember that ALL these sites
are commercial sites and people redily accept the ads that appear on their
screens.

You equate SPAM with a violent physical crime? That is so ludicrous that I
am not even going to comment on it.
I have to say that your responding to every one of Ray's posts in order to
stir up public support for your position is very interesting. I'm betting
that the readers of this newsgroup become more annoyed with you than they
ever were with Ray.
I'm looking forward to seeing what percentage of the readers of r.t.c. join
you. I'm thinking it is going to be a real small number..... probably
single digit, but only time will tell.
