I've cruised with Carnival, Royal Carribean, and most recently Disney.

My image of Carnival centers mostly around druken passengers. Carnival is
where people go to party.

Factors that go into my choice are price, ports, number of sea days,
children's programs, how hard the sell is for extras once you are on board.

You might want to ask some more specific questions. Carnival's quality is
a hot topic here, you'll tend to get some bad information if your questions
are too broad.
