Having been a lurker here for quite some time, I just had to step
forward with this one. Ray does add to the group, but is also using
this forum for blatant spamming or advertising as it were. It is so
obvious that only a fool would not conclude the truth. The people
siding with Ray are people that are part of a long standing clique
here, so it comes as no surprise. Ray does respond to people here all
the time, which makes him part of the group unlike what would usually
be considered a spammer who just advertises and does not read or
respond to posts on a regular basis. Ray usually makes a short line
with a link to his page so that those reading the headline will always
see his advertising line. His sig line is infact an advertisement as is
his link to a travel agency that he is connected to directly. The whole
way he uses his account is advertising. Somedays, I log on and find 90%
of the new posts are only by Ray and not just one or two in a row, but
3, 4 or more, which looks obscene. A usual spammer comes and goes but
doesn't spam day after day after day which makes Ray really off the
chain. He never misses a day and goes on several time periods to make
sure he is always visible. I don't know which is worse, the spamming or
the clique that brown-noses him. If Ray would just sign his posts Ray
(A Travel Agent) or something like that and participate the way
everyone else does I would no longer consider him to be abusing the
spamming rules.
