Jim, One way you will save some time is carry off your own luggage.
That by itself should save you almost 30 mins. I just did an early
flight on my last cruise and used a car service. I had the drivers cell
number and established a pick up point in advance. You have three
things that are completely out of your control. US Customs, Traffic,
and Airport lines. Anyone of these three could cost you time. I been
in Miami when multi ships are in port and waited on line to check in
with my airline for over and hour and a half. Then had a 45 min.
Security Checkpoint line. My next cruise I've decided to skip all these
problems and stay in Ft. Lauderdale a day after the cruise and avoid
this whole mess. You will have your work cut out for you to make an 11
AM flight.
