The smoke was a problem for me and that was one of my problems on the
Carnival ship, I don't know if there were more smokers or if it had to
do with the design of the ship, all those low ceilings and poorly
designated smoking areas.

I did not see loud, obnoxious, half drunk types on the Carnival cruise
I took and believe me that is something I would have noticed. As far as
the beaches, it never struck me that the Carnival cruisers were
different from anyone else on the beaches but I never took a poll.

The only thing that ever struck me about cruisers from particular
cruise lines at ports was that HAL cruisers used walkers.

Oops, someone is going to call me a HAL basher :)

But you know when you get a stereotype in your mind maybe you only
notice the cruisers who fit the stereotype. Maybe that is the case with
folkes who think Carnival is full of drunks.
