Named after Artists??? Maybe you were on the Freedom of the Seas from
another dimension. The Freedom I was on last week in New York harbor had
the three levels of the main dining room named after SCIENTISTS: Issac
(Newton), Galielo, and Leonardo (DaVinci). At the entrance to each was a
plaque explaining the significance of each man.

I've only been on Sovereign (oldest in the fleet) and Jewel (newest
aside from Freedom), but I was impressed. As vendors, my boss and I were
invited to attend the Naming Ceremony and Gala. And I was on the Today
Show! Look carefully at the Flowrider segment and you'll see me in the
background. Didn't get to see Katie Couric (Gawd, I've had a crush on
her for years!), but I did see Al Roker multiple times and Matt Lauer once.

The ship is huge! Everyone we talked with on the cruise seemed
impressed; although a few said it was just like the Voyager class, but
bigger.
