On the other end of the spectrum. My sister Karen, is a TA and was on
the Trade shakedown cruise of Freedom of the Seas. She had good things
to say about many of the public areas and loved the spa. However, she
too had an inside room. She found it to be almost claustrophobic.
Karen also had some housekeeping issues to bring to management. Each
day, towels that were left on the floor were removed, but there weren't
any replacements. There was no turn down service and she was away from
her room until 11:00 pm at night. Possible reason? Karen surmised that
they may be having trouble fully staffing a ship that size. The existing
housekeeping staff was overworked. Since tips were included, the help
just didn't give a damn.
