Subject: Sun Princess review - Inside passage Alaska 2006 Posted on: Mon, 10 Jul 2006 23:10:54 +0000 (UTC)

Hello,

Our family just returned on 7/09 from Alaska inside passage cruise.

Pros:
- Princess staff was very freindly.
- Cabins were roomy and clean.
- Gratuity is optional.
- Ship was very clean.
- Nice stops - Juneau,Skagway
- Very scenic route.

Cons:
- Buffet is not so good. (Very few choices for vegans/vegetarians)
- Pools were not heated mostly. If heated, temperature is set to 69-71,
which is not comfortable specially in Alaskan wind.
- Pools/Jacuzzi were emptied more than 24 hours before the end of the
trip in order to get them ready for next trip.
- No inroom babysitting option
- No daycare/babysitting available for kids less than 3 years old.
- Shows were not so good.
- Wait time in Pizzeria and Grill make them useless.

This ship is NOT for you if you are vegetarian/vegan or travelling with
kids (specially young ones).

Hope it helps.
