I just finished a Princess Dawn cruise to Alaska and they did charge for
hot chocolate. I believe it was $1.50+tip. I'd gotten the word
beforehand and took my own since husband likes a cup before turning in
for the night. Several people came up to me and asked me where I got
the hot chocolate when I was drinking it on days other than when we
cruised Tracy Arms and expressed disappointmentit was not available with
the coffee and tea as they had been accustomed to on other cruises. One
wanted to buy some from me. On our Caribbean cruises, there were hot
chocolate packets by the tea bags and coffee machines, but not on this
one. This was my first time on Princess so I don't know if they have it
available on Caribbean cruises. When I cruised HAL to Alaska a few
years back, I seem to remember they had free soup or something on deck
the day we cruised Glacier National Park to warm you up.
