No. Security measures at code red level are in place for flights. That
is not the same as code red security measures for all aspects of life.

No. None of these substances is being allowed in carry on luggage.
Passengers are allowed to transfer these items -- and a longer list of
items you haven't mentioned -- in checked luggage.

This is correct, although the list is longer.

That may be a function of people misinterpreting instructions or
over-reacting. It's not policy.

Put most simply. There is essentially *no* carry on luggage allowed.
Passengers are allowed to place glasses (without their cases), wallets,
medicine for immediate use, and a few other vital items in clear plastic
bags. The plastic bag has become carry on "luggage."
