Most of the cruises I have to fly to, are out of the US and I try to
always fly down a day ahead of time. That would make it possible to
ship any vauable things to my hotel. Also I would use FedEx or UPS,
never the post office since I do not trust them at all. It would be
different if I was flying out of the US, but I will deal with that
when it happens.
