Subject: Re: Shipping Pineapple Wine Home From Hawaii Posted on: Sun, 20 Aug 2006 15:15:59 -0400

IT IS ILLEGAL TO SHIP ALCOHOL!! Every US Post Office has a poster
hanging of items they will not accept. Alcohol and wine are at the top
of the list. This also goes for FedEx & UPS as well. Believe me I've
tried with a rare scotch I bought for a friend on a cruise and tried to
ship.
If for some reason you get it past the counter and something breaks (the
post office finds it) you could get a major fine or even jail. It is a
federal offence. There is no way to ship it yourself. You buy it, you
carry it. Unless where you buy from can ship you'll have to leave the
memories and flavor in Hawaii.
