Remember that, depending on the day of the week, there could be as
many as 8,000 people trying to fly home at the same time. Security is
a nightmare. Everybody has the first flight out.

On our last cruise, we were two hours late getting into port. All it
takes is a broken pod. Or a MOB (our case).

You could be pulled aside for a full inspection of your luggage (it
does happen, it's totally random). There are a number of things that
could delay you.

Airlines are not very forgiving. They'll probably let you fly
standby, but I would plan on a long wait.
