Dave,
If a couple "smuggled" booze onboard, why would they have their Sea Pass
confiscated? Or perhaps was it the ship that was supplying them?
Then they were sent to their cabin for 10 hours....wouldn't that be where
the "smuggled" booze was kept? Do you know if their cabin was first
"cleansed" before they were allowed to enter?
Why do you believe all people who enjoy a bottle in their room are
alcoholics? I'm sure you remember when RCCL would allow you to pay an
additional charge to bring one to your cabin. Was that ok?
If the cruise lines make little money off of liquor, why does it cost you
more with booze smugglers? Is it the additional security required to
confiscate all the liquor or jail the drunks?
And finally, how do you know the boob job cost $5K?
Look, the bottom line is those of us who cruise RCCL have known for years
what their alcohol policy is. We also know that they have selectively
enforced it. IMHO, everything the cruise lines do is to benefit them, NOT
us!
And yes, I am also a LRCC,
Jeff
