I may have come on a little strong on my previous post. If so, my apologies
to the group.

I suppose they could have searched there room. I dont know for sure. If they
did, they were well within there rights to do so.

I suppose it also depends on what is considered drinking to "excess". I
certainly could not consume a whole bottle of liquor (lets say 1 litre
bottle) on a 3 day or even a 4 day cruise. Even if shared with another, why
would you book a cruise just to set in your room and drink? If I did then
yes...I would think that I just might have a drinking problem. If I was
concerned about having enough booze to drink from sunup to sundown then yes,
I'd say I had a drinking problem. What would you call someone with a
drinking problem? They kinda get offended at the word "Drunks".

The woman I was speaking of was quite "vocal" in her description of her
"body work" She made the comment, in a not so suttle voice that it was the
"Best 5000 Bucks she ever spent"!...and I'll admit her doctor did great work

Overall, smuggling booze on board is illegal. They ask you not to do it.
Thats reason enough for me not to do it. Yes, they have selectivly enforced
it, to our benefit. If it gets out of hand and it comes to checking every
piece of luggage and carry on's for contraband then it would take hours to
board the ship and even longer to leave the port.

In addition, I dont feel there drink prices are unreasonable...about what
you would pay at a better club or resturant on shore. The mixed drinks that
I had were certainly worth the money. You know as well as I do they dont
"skimp" on the alcohol. On a good "Party night" I might have 4 or 5...but on
the boat, when I get to #3...I'm pretty well "buzzzed" so I just set back
and enjoy the "glow".

Their rules arent to target drinkers. There main concern is to provide
EVERYONE with a relaxed, enjoyable, fun and peaceful cruise experience and
yes...to make it as affordable as possible. That works for me!

See Ya' on the Boat,
