The Review Journal had a good article about the new Terminal 3
expansion. The plans are now almost finalized and they're already
beginning to relocate Russel Road. The project will cost around $1.7
Billion, but will add only 9 gates. http://tinyurl.com/ptu25
It looks like the addition will generally duplicate, but not replace,
the main terminal. The article said that folks can use either terminal
to check in, and that a tram would connect the two. Hopefully, someone
will figure out how to let travelers know their baggage is over at the
other terminal. They're also doing another parking garage and a second
garage for employee parking. From an earlier article, Terminal 3 will
be where the extended Monorail will connect.
