Hi Ermalee,

I checked out the link to the recipe you mention since I've never heard
anyone in the States recognize the name of the dessert - and found that
it's completely different from the Alberta version I use. The one I
learned was simply making a batch of brownies (no nuts), icing them
with white peppermint icing, chilling them in the freezer and then
putting the glaze on them (you can also use unsweetened chocolate for
the glaze which adds a bit of a "bite" to the whole thing). You could
call them peppermint brownies, but it's not as fun a name!
