Star Clippers' new cruise brochure, showcasing itineraries from fall 2006
through early summer 2008, is now available. The 81-page catalogue is the
largest ever for the line and is filled with full-page images, in-depth
details about ports of call, and maps of voyages. The brochure is divided
into sections by destination. The line's newest itineraries are in Tahiti.
In December 2007, the Star Flyer will reposition to the region for
year-round cruises throughout French Polynesia. Other Star Clippers
itineraries feature the Far East, Caribbean and Mediterranean, and range in
length from four to 37 nights. The Royal Clipper and Star Clipper will
continue their Caribbean seasons with seven-night round-trips from Barbados
and St. Maarten, respectively, through April 2007. The 227-passenger Royal
Clipper will return to the Caribbean in November 2007 and will sail two
alternating seven-night roundtrip Barbados itineraries through April 2008.
From November to March 2007, Star Flyer will sail its final Far East season
before Star Clipper takes over the route. The ships visit islands in
Thailand and Malaysia on two seven-night roundtrips from Phuket, Thailand.
Four special seven-night sailings in December 2006 and March 2007 operate
between Phuket and Singapore. The Star Clipper repositions to the Far East
in November 2007 to take over that program. The summer Med season offers an
assortment of itineraries ranging from four to 11 nights from April to
October 2007. The Royal Clipper will again sail 10- and 11-night cruises
between Venice and Civitavecchia that call in Croatia and Montenegro, in
addition to seven-night roundtrip Civitavecchia sailings of Italy. The Star
Clipper will primarily operate roundtrips from Cannes of four to seven
nights, with additional cruises departing from Lisbon and Barcelona. Sailing
its final season in the Mediterranean before repositioning to French
Polynesia, the Star Flyer offers seven-night Athens roundtrips and 10- and
11-night itineraries between Athens and Venice. In December 2007, the Star
Flyer will reposition to French Polynesia and offer seven-, 10- and 11-night
roundtrips from Papeete and 10- and 11-night sailings between Papeete and
Nuku Hiva, Marquesas. New to the brochure this year, Advance Purchase
Discounts (APD) are listed in the pricing chart for almost every sailing.
APDs range from $400 off per person on seven-night cruises to $600 off per
person on 12- to 14-night cruises. To obtain a copy of the new brochure,
