It is a great shame and pure bean counting. Bean counters are never
flavour of the month, or at any other time. If Minerva II had been
making a loss one could perhaps forgive, but as Carnival has stated she
does make a profit, it leaves a sour taste; especially when viewed
alongside the changes made to maximise profits in respect of their other
UK based lines. But sobeit, we all have a choice of who to sail with and
thankfully there is still a fairly wide variety of lines providing a
range of differing experiences to choose from, even if perhaps they are
not one's first preference. If however such actions continue, cruising
may become 'all the same' .. let's hope RCCL leave the operations of
Pullmantur alone ... or it will be time to take to the freighters to get
my 'sea fix':)
