I was thinking more along the lines of a flat 10% of the cost of the trip.


In Nonny's case, I'll settle for some BBQ'd shrimp.

I am hoping by now that the people who took this thread seriously know that
they have been had. It was a joke and while being fooled may be a "Dang"
moment for you... it was in good fun.

And for the truly humor-impaired of just the curious..... no, most travel
agents do not expect "tips".

But, over the years I have gotten some very nice gifts from customers.
Mostly small items that they pick up on a cruise and send to me, or things
from their home town or area. A few times I mentioned my fondness for
Macadamia nuts and it isn't too unusual for me to get a can or jar in the
mail every once in a while. A few gifts have been truly extravagant... and
somewhat embarrassing to receive.

Now if I could figure out a way to make it easy for people to ship me
shrimp.....
