Experience the Best of the Mediterranean for Less With Costa, Europe's
Number One Cruise Line
MIAMI, Oct. 17
Travelers can explore the best of the Mediterranean for a fraction of
the price this fall and winter with Costa's "Mediterranean Value
Voyage" collection. As Europe's Number One Cruise Line with nearly 60
years of cruising experience in the region, Costa offers the best of
the continent while providing guests with warm, Italian hospitality
and an international ambience. The collection features select voyages
from November 2006 through April 2007, with early booking fares
offering savings of up to 45%.
All of Costa's ships sailing the Mediterranean in the winter are
equipped with either retractable magrodomes or indoor pools, making
poolside activities enjoyable at all times for guests. This includes
the new Costa Concordia, which debuted in July 2006 and currently
sailing its inaugural season in the Mediterranean. Revolutionary and
stylish, the ship boasts the largest spa at sea, a Grand Prix race car
driving simulator and the largest enclosable pool deck of any cruise
ship.
"Many North American travelers have long known the benefits of a
winter Mediterranean vacation -- lower priced airfare offers more
affordable travel, while fewer crowds at ports of call make for easy
exploration at the numerous historical sites," said Lynn Torrent,
President & CEO of Costa Cruise Lines- North America. "In addition,
temperatures in the region are relatively mild, providing a
comfortable vacation experience onboard and ashore."
Costa's "Mediterranean Value Voyage" collection features 10- and
11-night cruises throughout Spain, Morocco, Portugal, the Canary
Islands, Egypt, Cyprus and Greece. Fares for 10-night cruises,
including airfare, hotel accommodations and ground transportation
begin at $1,398 per person. Government taxes are additional. All fares
are subject to change and based on availability.
Costa, Europe's Number One Cruise Line, offers an experience that is
delightfully different in service and cuisine, in an atmosphere filled
with love, laughter and la dolce vita. It's called "Cruising Italian
Style" and true to its heritage, no detail has been overlooked in
bringing the beauty and hospitality of Italy to the sea. Cruising
Italian Style ... that's Amore!
The ships of Costa range in size from 30,000-tons to 112,000-tons, and
provide an ambience that is distinctly Italian - from the progressive
architecture and stylish design to the unforgettable cuisine and
gracious hospitality. With eleven ships in service and three on order,
Costa offers cruises that span the globe on itineraries of three
nights and longer throughout the Caribbean, the Mediterranean,
Northern Europe, South America, Transatlantic, Dubai, and the Far
East.
