I posted a review on the NCL Dream and a number of people said: "Kudos
for taking your kid on such a long holiday."
What's so hard about it (I ask in all sincerety)? The beauty of
travelling with a cruise line is that they do provide kids
entertainment. In fact, it's the main reason for cruising over a land
based holiday.
With NCL they take the kids from 9am to 12, 2 to 5pm and 7 to 10pm.
That leaves Mom and Dad an awful lot of time together without any
problems. The in-between times is spent having a meal, a nap etc. (Sea
days).
The hardest thing is after 10pm. We like to sit down and listen to the
piano player but DD is still charged up with the fun. There tends to be
a lot of "sit down." I don't like her running around the bar because of
other patrons and for safety reasons.
