He doesn't like me to do that - he'd rather I just report to him what they
said or sometimes I read things to him.

You have to understand that Bob (my husband) has been on Navy ships for 20
years, and then cruising on our own boat. He was amenable to the NCL Crown
because his brother recommended it, and he was quite happy with it. It is
just a little more structured than being on our own boat. After the first
cruise (to Bermuda, which we both love), he was OK with the second
(repositioning) cruise the following year. But no one he knows has been on
the Maasdam.
It isn't a question about not going - we've paid for it and he wouldn't not
go if we've paid.
