You could try to get a table for two. I have had pretty good luck with
table assignments. A few clunkers, but overall, meeting my tablemates
and getting to know them during the week is one aspect of cruising that
I really look forward to. If you find that, after the first night,
there's too much of a personality clash with those you've been assigned
to dine with, then don't hesitate to ask for a table switch.

Maasdam upper and lower dining rooms will share the same menus each
night - doesn't matter which level of the dining room or which seating
you're assigned. Pinnacle Grill is extra charge (excellent meal - dined
there on both Oosterdam and Zuiderdam). Lido is your big buffet
restaurant serving three meals plus in-betweens, and the Terrace grill
will be for your burgers/fries, etc.
