We picked the early seating and I think we are on the upper level for at
least one of the cruises.

When do you pick a table for 8 or for 2? I think one of the cruises has a
dinner in the Pinnacle Grill included - do we have to make reservations for
that immediately we board?
If you miss your seating time due to getting back late, do you have to eat
in the buffet?
