When we cruise, we take along several nylon duffel bags, such as
military personnel use. They fold up nicely in our suitcases when
departing. Then, we overload our plates at the buffet 3-4 times per
meal and take all the extra food to our cabin, where we put it into the
stuff sacks. By the time a cruise if finished, we have at least
300-400# of shrimp, chicken and other food to bring home. It lasts us
at least 3-4 months. Spoilage is a minor problem, so we usually do
salads and vegetables toward the beginning of the cruise, and add in the
seafood and meat toward the end.
