but you maight find it odd to have your faily and friends calling you in
Liechtenstein.
Some people have had good luck using Skype or other internet telephony,
of course you incur some hefty internet charges on many ships.

I have had spotty luck with texting from the caribbean, St Thomas is an
exception as it and PR are actually part of many US plans such as
Cingular.
