You don't have to justify yourself to me. I'm not the one who says
that no-one should have any life or concerns when they are on vacation
or on a cruise. I personally think one should do whatever they want
to do on vacation, and if that means checking in every day, then no
one ought to hassle them about it. And similarly if you want to
ignore work completely, that's OK with me too. It's nobody's business
except yours and certainly no business of the vacation police.
