Charles,
10166 (starboard aft) and 6506 (port forward)
There were two nurses on deck 11 that we overheard complaining to each other
that they thought somthing like fleas were biting them in their cabin.
Another man told me (on the last day) he had a rash around his ankle and
side abdomen. Also, that the head of housekeeping was found in his stateroom
collecting all of his bedding, mattress pad and pillows. Housekeeping said
it was just normal procedure. That was deck 6 mid starboard. He asked me for
the info to contact Miami.
Yet another couple who joined us on a couple trips to the beach (husband)
complained of a rash on his side. Not sure there cabin number/location.
My parents were on deck 5 forward. could not find any bugs but also had
bites. Perhaps they were bitten in common areas such as lounges, etc.
I took samples of these bugs to the front desk twice. they verbally
acknowledged that they were bed bugs. They said they have rarely ever had a
problem. But their numbers by my account were too high for that to be true.
The pest company I contacted said most people do not know where (or what) to
look for them. And until they are so bad you do not usually see them.
Thanks for reading.
