Well I don't know what type of Credit Card you are planning on using
issued by what bank, but all of my cruise charges have always been of
the normal charge type variety not cash advances. If you go to the
casino and get cash to gamble with on your card it will be a cash
advance type charge, but otherwise all your other charges will be of
the normal charge type.

You should also have the option of settling up your account at the end
of the cruise which you should be able to do in cash should you
desire. Personally I always prefer to do these types of transactions
by charge card in case there is some type of dispute later on.
