We have booked quite a few last minute trips and were unable to get printed
documents. Only once did we a problem. We booked and purchased air and sea
as a package arriving in PR one day earlier to enjoy PR for a day. Paid for
our trip at the time of booking.
When we showed up at the airport for an early a.m. flight to PR we were told
that the reservations were there but not paid for. Turns out someone forgot
to transer our air portion of our payment to the airline. Both the cruise
line and the TA blamed each other. Bottom line was we were stuck until
9:00am to contact someone, missing our flight. We were put on a much later
flight, arriving in PR late in the evening. So much for our fun day in San
Juan. We were thankful that we did book to arrive a day early rather than
miss the ship.
Not sure if it would have made a difference, had we had time to recieve our
documents. I
The trip we just returned from, we printed e-documents. I do like
e-documents. It makes me feel like I can control at least that portion of my
trip. Suddenly after telling you all this, the thought occurs to me (da)
perhaps your TA or the Cruise line can email you your docs.
