Subject: Re: What's your favorie short trip/to do in Cozumel? Posted on: Sun, 12 Nov 2006 01:09:07 +0000 (UTC)

Imho (with grain of saltwater)

If you've never been to Cancun, you might wanna sorta tour it, because
it's something to see in itself: Miami Beach south, at least a Mexican
version.

Cozumel is fairly small as I recall, though there is stuff there to
shop.

You take a 30-45 minute (how many minutes?) small boat to Cancun, and
perhaps ride the busses and/or walk in some malls there.

I think bus fare is about five--ten pesos (50 cents--$1) on the Cancun
Island and that can include to
the mainland downtown.

I do recall eating at a restaurant on Cozumel, but I can't recall there
being all that much to do/see, tho this was 15 plus or minus years ago.

See a video or two
travelogue from a library about Cozumel-Cancun to see what they
portray.

There are no crime figures available about Cozumel & Cancun that I know
of,
but if anhybody can link/post 'em, then they oughta do so in our n.g.
here.

A problem is the videos were probably
made before the devastating hurricane of the previous year.
