Morning,
Just went thru Phila Int for the Sleazy cruise. TSA has just moved the
start of the line up a few feet and set up a table with an agent
checking your (carryons) Quart ZipLoc bags, They are checking that
everything in it i.e., Toothpaste, lotions, etc are 3 oz or less. Had
a toothpaste container of 4 ozs but only had about 1 oz in it and they
didn't take it, let me thru with it.
Packed our Rx drugs in a Gallon size (it was full to streaching the
bag) and they said nothing after they checked the labels (did this in
Houston TX on the way back too).
My suggestion to everyone, take an extra Quart (empty) size bag or two
in your carryon. What holds up the line are the people who don't know
that you need the Quart Size bag and the agents asked other pax if
anyone had one for this pax that didn't have one. And the line was
stopped until one was found. (I finally emptied my bag so the lady
behind me would have one so the line could move again, I already passed
that point so didn't need the bag.)
