No probs, it was just an idea. When this whole clampdown started, I
didn't have the box with the label on it for my asthma inhaler. I
didn't have any refills on this one and I couldn't get to my MD for the
refill (his group started to require an office visit for any Rx refill
writes, even for longterm items). My pharmacist went ahead and gave me
a new inhaler with the box and a label on it. Maybe they counted this
as an "emergency fill" for me, but she didn't bat an eyelash.
For my latest experience, my husband flew from SLC to LAX 3.5 weeks ago.
Had his prescriptions checked in LAX. We both flew to Hawaii 3 weeks
ago - he took out his prescriptions and got a cursory check, while I
didn't take them out of my carryon and no one cared. I guess it's just
the luck of the draw on what TSA agent you get and what mood he/she is in. |
